XPO Logistics Hosts the President of Castilla-La Mancha at the First Anniversary Celebration of Its Cabanillas del Campo Site

XPOLogistics, a leading global provider of transport and logistics services, today hosted Emiliano García-Page Sánchez, President of Castilla-La Mancha, at the company’s distribution centre in Cabanillas del Campo (Guadalajara, Spain). The event marked the site’s first anniversary and was attended by Patricia Franco Jiménez, Counselor of Economy, Businesses and Employment of the Government of Castilla-La Mancha, José García Salinas, Mayor of Cabanillas del Campo, and other officials. 

XPO’s Cabanillas del Campo logistics site manages a range of supply chain activities, including the receipt and storage of goods, preparation of orders, and distribution services related to household appliances for a white goods retailer, as well as e-fulfilment for two global fashion retailers. The company’s flexible, multi-customer warehouse model delivers efficiencies and cost savings through the shared use of resources.  

The President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page Sánchez, said, “The development of the logistics sector in this autonomous community is helping to foster employment and growth in the Corredor del Henares, and takes advantage of our location. We celebrate the one-year anniversary of the XPO distribution center in Cabanillas. The 48,500 square meter Cabanillas site is strategically located in the Guadalajara province, a major logistics hub forgoods distribution in Spain. XPO operatesa total of 10 logistics sites in the region for numerous customers in e-commerce, manufacturing, automotive andretail, among other sectors
