XPO Logistics appoints Mark Wilkinson, Pascal Born and Max Alexander to Supply Chain sales management roles in Europe

Mark Wilkinson, Senior Vice President of Sales

Mark Wilkinson joins XPO with more than two decades of supply chain experience across multiple disciplines, including global sales and account management, product and service development, and operations. He is responsible for XPO’s sales performance in Europe and for innovating sector-based services to customers. He leads a team of vertical business development directors in Europe and reports to Malcolm Wilson, managing director, Supply Chain–Europe.

Prior to joining XPO, Mr. Wilkinson worked at Exel Logistics (now DHL Supply Chain), where he most recently served as business development and strategy director responsible for defining and executing growth strategies with a focus on the industrial, aerospace, and oil and gas sectors.

Pascal Born, Business Development Director–Industrial and Automotive

Pascal Born brings extensive experience in sales and project management to XPO, with a successful track record in the logistics sectors for manufacturing and spare parts. He is responsible for supporting XPO’s in-country sales teams in expanding the company’s industrial and automotive base.

Prior to joining XPO, Mr. Born spent 25 years with Caterpillar Inc., predominantly in engine division aftersales, where he was responsible for key account management of original equipment manufacturers. His most recent role was as business development director for Caterpillar Logistics, now Neovia Logistics, charged with developing European business with blue chip companies in the automotive and industrial sectors.

Max Alexander, Business Development Director–Fashion and E-commerce

Max Alexander brings a wealth of fashion and e-commerce expertise to XPO, following nearly 30 years in the supply chain industry. He is responsible for supporting in-country sales teams in the expansion of XPO’s fashion and e-commerce base with an emphasis on the textile, garment and manufacturing sectors.

Previously, Mr. Alexander operated his own successful business within the logistics sector. He has been a consultant to large e-commerce companies in the areas of strategic growth, operational excellence and customer service. Mr. Alexander has held senior international roles in sales and operations with Unipart Group and Ceva Logistics. He most recently served as head of retail sales for Wincanton PLC, where he specialised in e-commerce.
